Year after year, Sunnyhurst vineyard produces a fine Merlot, this time a mellow and soft mouthfeel wine, medium- bodied with a fruit cake lift, good aromatic profile with firm tannins, nice fruit weight and plenty of savoury length. The addition of Petit Verdot (20%) gave it more structure and body.
Fermented at low temperature to lock in aromatic compounds, a true expression of its kind and favourite of mine.
