The wine offers rich notes of blackberry, overripe mulberry and plum, complemented by a velvety texture and subtle hints of spices. Each sip reveals layers of dark fruit and lantana, earthy tannins and an appealing juiciness. Pair with an equally juicy Porterhouse steak.
This Cabernet Merlot 23 was hand-picked from a Blackwood valley vineyard and blended with 15% of our Sunnyhurst Petit Verdot. Fermented in small batches, plunged by hand every 3 hours with rigorous temperature control, basket pressed, aged in French oak for 12 to 16 months and bottled in house.
